I have enjoyed working with many companies to help train and develop their staff and clients such as, in England; Hertfordshire County Council, Kinesis Training, Crown College, Clearsprings Group Ltd and BAE Systems in the UK.
More recently, I have worked with groups at Siemens, Adidas, VR Bank, SBK and various smaller organizations and private clients in Germany.
Coming from an Asian background, I spent most of my life living in the UK and grew up in a multicultural environment. I have also travelled worldwide, worked in countries abroad and with people from many nationalities.

MSc. Occupational Psychology
A Way of Life
Life Coaching is not an occupation for me and I do not consider it work. Moreover, it is my ‘pre-occupation’ or rather, a reason for being. I have been happily and successfully providing my freelance coaching services since 2006 when I established my company, Jivon Deesha.
I have also provided coaching to numerous friends, family and colleagues and clients for many years before that.
In 1998, I returned to university and studied hard for four years. Finally, I achieved one of my long-term goals and acquired my graduate and masters degrees in Psychology (BSc) and Occupational Psychology (MSc). It was at this time that I completely changed my career and started out on a new direction in life.
My MSc qualification allows me to use psychologically based principles in my work such as assessing client’s requirements and analyzing behaviours. However, I also use my natural instincts and perceptual awareness to ‘tune in’ to my clients and their needs.
Other courses I have studied include NLP training, Training for the Trainer, Effective Communication and the Silva Mind Method. My personal learning is ongoing and much of the ‘life skills’ have been acquired through reading, practicing, applying and testing the techniques myself as well as learning experientially through my clients.
Since 1989, after finishing college, I started work and was lucky enough to gain ten years of valuable commercial experience, before heading back to university. It had included working in retail, wholesale, manufacture, local government, banking, insurance, health services, hospitality and charity based businesses.
Although those jobs were not my final career destiny, I had by then received the perfect foundation and knowledge for becoming a Career and Business coach, acquiring a breadth of understanding within many industrial disciplines and people processes.
A Natural Niche
In 1996 I started working at YMCA Training and found my true niche. I realised that providing guidance, coaching and training people, are skills that come naturally.
Since then, I have been specialising in the field of life learning and training in business, whilst honing my own skills in consultation, design and delivering training, and one-to-one coaching.
